50K – This year, we are doing a Clockwise LOOP in the Marin Headlands, with an out and back spur tagged onto the end to Fort Baker and the Travis Marina Bar to get a few extra miles needed to make this a 50K before going back south over the GG bridge and back to the start/finish.

The Pinkathon provides absolutely NO SUPPORT WHATSOEVER.  Please carry your cell phone and money with you and ask a friend or family member to be available to help you or pick you up if you get into any trouble during your run or walk.

How to use RunGo App for GTX Files:

RungoApp offers airplane mode turn-by-turn navigation by providing spot on voice prompts before upcoming turns/junctions (think Google Maps for running). Past runners have reported very positive results with the app and boosted their confidence in navigating the course when other runners might not always be in view.

Check out https://youtu.be/tjWQontKSc8 and https://youtu.be/nvOrGuMW9iI for a quick demo. RungoApp is available FREE on both iOS and Android via the respective AppStores or at http://www.rungoapp.com.

NOTE: ALL of these Pinkathon Maps except maybe the Pink Ribbon Trail are OLD and you need to read the instructions below if you are relying on maps.  The chalk and flour marks on trail tend to be more accurate, but if you want to do the full distance you signed up for, you should rely on your own personal GPS device and not our maps!  Read more….

Download these map and directions to your phone to see generally where you are supposed to go!

We recommend downloading the RUN GO APP for IOS or Android if you want audio of some of the turn by turn directions below (except Pink Ribbon Trail, 26.2 and 50K).  https://www.rungoapp.com/

Pink Ribbon Trail – Starts at crosswalk next to Gott’s Roadside.  Turn on your GPS device and start recording. Follow the chalk markings that look like a pink ribbon.  Take a printed map or look at the PDF on your phone!  You will end up with a cool drawing of a Pink Ribbon!  https://pinkathon.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Pinkathon.org-Pink-Ribbon-Trail-Map-Directions-SF-Ferry-Bldg.pdf
